The final push came when I requested PHP5 support on the server and was only given the option to move to a new server with them – which required that I make a backup of the entire site, and recreate it on their new server and it all had to be done within 2 weeks of starting.

Well since I had to rebuild the site, I figured I should look for a new provider and because I only do this as a hobby, would give myself 3 or 4 weeks to do it, but in worst case scenario, I have my old hosting account until March 2010. So, I have moved to Arvixe and if you see this post you are on the new server :-)

So far the experience has been quite seemless, and I hope you also find the new server performs faster.

We are using Revver to host the videos, and although the quality has to be downgraded it is better than YouTube, and it does the job for sharing the short videos.
