It is not one of the tallest, but the views from the top are quite spectacular. We took the world’s steepest cog railway to get to the summit, and then took a gondola cable car to get down the other side. It was a fun day which also included a ride in a Rodelbahn (summer bobsled). Here are some pictures we took today.

In the afternoon we went for a nice walk to a park nearby, where they had a zipline. We took some video of Kate and Mateo going down the zipline – and getting off it really gracefully… Not!!

We had a great time, and Mateo enjoyed visiting the beach and running around La Mola. Here are some pictures we took on this trip.

It is a beautiful town in the alps, which is only accessible by train or special taxi service. The town is completely car free, except for small electric vehicles. As you can see from the pictures, there are some absolutely spectacular views of the Matterhorn, one of Switzerland’s most famous mountains. Kate, Mateo, the dogs and I went hiking in the mountains.
